The contract will consist of two projects:
— E136 Dølsteinfonna and Fantebrauta, landslide protection project
— Romsdalen check point, inspection of heavy vehicles.
E136 Dølsteinfonna and Fantebrauta
The project is located at Horgheim, 13 km from Åndalsnes, Dombås direction and go from profile 9950 to profile 11650.
A landslide protection tunnel shall be built here, from concrete and loose material (Fantebrauta) with a length of 240 metres, construction of approx. 500 metre avalanche mound (Dølsteinfonna) and reconstruction of 2 smaller bridges, Fantebrauta bridge and the New Horgheim bridge.
In addition, 1 700 metres of road shall be built/altered and approx. 1 550 metres of side road/footpath shall be built/upgraded.
E136 Romsdalen Checkpoint.
The checkpoint is located at Marstein, 16 km from Åndalsnes toward Dombås.
A new heavy vehicle checkpoint will be built here in replacement of the station down by Trollvegen. The station shall consist of officers/terminal building, inspection hall with pit and scale. Total traffic area approx. 6 200 m
