This contract concerns the design and monitoring of the development of flood control works on the territory of the Province of Walloon Brabant, the needs of which cannot be predetermined by the Contracting Authority at the time of drafting these specifications.
This concept of works should be understood in the broad sense, that is to say any achievement whose objective is to interfere with hydrological and/or hydrographic phenomena in order to improve flood risk management.
The market is divided into lots. Each lot in the contract corresponds to one of the five categories of flood control works, according to their water retention capacity, with the exception of lot 1, which deals with runoff control works and facilities:
