Sport Northern Ireland (Sport NI) is the leading public body for the development of sport and physical recreation in Northern Ireland.
SportNI recognises its moral duty and legal obligation to protect children and young people in sport through the creation and promotion of a safe environment which protects them from harm. Sport has the power to be a positive influence on children and vulnerable young adults, through providing supporting structures and a sporting environment that places welfare first.
SportNI wishes to appoint the services of a specialist Contractor to provide a Children's Safeguarding Advisory Service for a three year period from the 1st April 2013 to the 31st March 2016, with an option to extend for two further periods of 12 months each.
