Expansion of Eilert Sundt sixth form college, Farsund campus has been planned. The project consists primarily of four buildings, 2 of which are existing buildings. The old main school from

1905, located at the top of the “mound”, must be renovated size (approximate area):

— Building A (constructed 1905), gross floor area of approx.,1 937 m2,

— Building B (constructed 1999), gross floor area of approx.,2 860 m2,

— Building C, gross floor area of approx. 4 760 m2,

— Building D, gross floor area of approx. 850 m2,

— Outdoor works cf. the outdoor plan.

1905, located at the top of the “mound”, must be renovated Hereafter, this building is called “Building A”.

The newest section, from 1999, where there is a theory room, an assembly hall and library, will also be renewed in some areas and reconstructed. Hereafter, this building is called “Building B”.

2 new buildings will be constructed on respectively the old hotel site and where Glassmagasinet has their current premises. The 2 new buildings are hereafter called “Building C” and “Building D”. The existing buildings on the site for Building C and D will be demolished in a separate demolition contract.

The 2 new buildings will be connected under the street plan in Theis Lundegaardsgate as well as Building C being connected with Building B over the street plan in Pengeveien.

The buildings will allow for flexible uses and generality for future changes.

Building C is planned as close to a zero emissions building where the building's renewable energy production compensates for CO2 emissions from operations and production of construction materials. The building itself must have a good passive standard.

Building D must maintain a good passive standard.

Implementation model

The procurement is organised as a turnkey contract in accordance with NS 8407. All executing and engineering design disciplines must be covered by the tenderer.
