The contract is for a framework service contract for environmentally friendly cleaning services and related services, including all necessary supplies, in the current and future office buildings of the Committee of the Regions and the European Economic and Social Committee.

As an indication, and without being exhaustive, the list of the main cleaning services to be provided for this contract includes:

— basic cleaning,

— permanently staffed and continuous cleaning services (entrance halls and exits, meeting/conference rooms, toilets, etc.),

— permanently staffed cloakrooms,

— services before/after events,

— cleaning of restaurants and cafeterias (except kitchen spaces),

— ‘low frequency’ services,

— washing windows (inside, outside, double glazed, etc.),

— pest control and related ad-hoc services,

— collection, storage, transport and treatment of waste,

— collection, storage, transport and treatment of additional waste,

— permanent staffing of the single point of contact (SPOC),

— management of staff inside and outside of the site,

— on-demand services (time and means),

— supply and/or replacement of hygienic and other products,

— supply and/or replacement of hygienic containers and those for medical waste,

— specific works,

— rental and provision of lifting equipment.
