The aim of the Obesity Prevention and Early Intervention Service is to support adults, young people and children in the Bradford District to increase their physical activity and improve their diet.
Key themes of the Obesity Prevention and Early Intervention Service:
— Supporting Service Users to engage in sustainable health improvement activities;
— Creating environments to encourage inactive Service Users to become active;
— Increased use of community assets, including green spaces to enable lifestyle change;
—Large scale physical activity and/or nutrition interventions to reduce health inequalities.
Lot 1 looks specifically at commissioning service provision targeting City, Little Horton, Great Horton, Manningham and Toller, Bowling and Barkerend and Heaton wards.
Lot 2 looks specifically at commissioning service provision targeting Bradford Moor, Eccleshill, Bolton and Undercliffe, Tong, Wibsey and Royds, Wyke, Windhill and Wrose wards.
Lot 3 looks specifically at commissioning service provision targeting Keighley Central and Keighley West, Clayton and Fairweather Green, Thornton and Allerton wards.
