The target of the acquisition is the acquisition of Finnish literature, foreign literature and sheet music for the päijät-Häme libraries (Asikkala Municipal Library, Hartola Municipal Library, Heinola City Library, Hollola Municipal Library, Kärkölä Municipal Library, Lahti City Library, Orimattila City Library, Padasjoki Municipal Library, Sysmä Municipal Library).

It is a framework agreement for which a maximum of 5 suppliers are selected.

The estimated value of the procurement is approximately EUR 800,000 per year without obligation. The customer does not commit to a specific purchase quantity or value.

MAKING PURCHASES

Libraries have access to an electronic service, the so-called electronic service. A procurement portal that is integrated into the library system and through which libraries get acquainted with the selectable literature, make selections and order the material. The portal compares the prices of each individual purchase and directs the order to the data provider that offers it at the lowest price at the time of ordering. The selection of the supplier of the literature material between the suppliers involved in the framework agreement is mainly made through the electronic procurement portal, but it must also be possible to compare and order products by e-mail and from the Supplier's online store.

LITERATURE TO BE ACQUIRED

The acquisition concerns domestic and foreign literature and sheet music.

In Swedish and English literature, we require extensive coverage of the material offered in terms of name quantity and content.

The offer must specify the number of new titles offered each year. The number of new titles for domestic, English and Swedish literature must be at least as defined in the "Criteria of the subject of the procurement" section of the invitation to tender each year. For literature other than domestic, English and Swedish, an estimate of the annual number of novelties by language shall be provided.

If more than five (5) successful tenders are received in the tendering process, the tenders will be compared according to the scope of the offer of the new titles in the required languages, as defined in the section "Grounds for decision-making" of the invitation to tender.
