Conclusion of an EVB-IT service contract for support services in the IBM SPSS Modeler environment

Within a employers' liability insurance association, the wealth of data is very high; Making optimal use of this wealth of data is one of BG ETEM's overarching strategic goals. For this reason, BG ETEM has been focusing on AI and data analytics for some time. For this purpose, the standard software IBM SPSS Modeler has been used in-house for about 12 years, for which extensive technical and scientific know-how has already been built up over time.

In 2017, as part of an extended strategic future orientation of BG ETEM, the expansion to AI support of suitable business processes was planned and implemented. With the use of the IBM SPSS Modeler infrastructure, two productive AI applications are now operated and continuously developed. A third AI application is under development and will go live by the end of 2022; further AI applications are being planned or developed.

Within the framework of this tender, a service provider is sought who supports BG ETEM • in the above-mentioned AI development task and • supports the existing AI productive processes in the IBM SPSS Modeler environment,

• as well as an accompanying IBM SPSS Modeler Coaching to build up knowledge and experience of the internally existing data scientists.
