A new StLF 20 will be procured as a replacement for an LF16 that has to be retired for reasons of age. In connection with the vehicles available at the site or still being procured, this should combine or supplement the properties of the previous standard vehicle types in such a way that new, current operational tactical and technical requirements in the areas of technical assistance and fire fighting are taken into account. A funding decision from the State of Hesse is available for the procurement project, which stipulates compliance with TRH-StLF 20: 2020. The guidelines and acceptance conditions of the TÜV (alternatively Dekra or GTÜ) and the State of Hesse (to safeguard the funding) must be observed. The leaflet provided for this purpose for body builders of fire fighting vehicles must be observed.

Chassis - relay fire fighting vehicle 20 (StLF 20) forward control chassis vehicle group fire-fighting vehicles - fire engine vehicle category 2:

- Suitable for off-road use Suitable for a cabin structure with a total seating capacity of 8 fire brigade FA (2 at the front, 2 against the direction of travel + 4 in the direction of travel).

Actual total mass ≤ 16,000 kg (mass class medium 3 (MIII) according to DIN SPEC 14502-1). The vehicle must meet all the requirements for weight class M according to DIN EN 1846-1 and 2. Chassis with all-wheel drive (weight variant 16,000 kg).

Fire service structure The vehicle should be divided as follows:

- the original truck cab

- the crew room

- The equipment compartments in the driver's cab can be tilted - the crew compartment part remains fixed on the truck. For all electronic equipment (Adalit lamp, strobe lights, HRTs,

WBK, etc.), a charge retention in the driver's cab, crew room and equipment room must be provided.

When expanding, it is essential to ensure that logically coherent loading groups are formed and that possible free spaces are not unnecessarily blocked by built-in components. We urgently refer to the relevant preliminary remark in the fire brigade loading planning.

The installation, storage and electrical installation of all fire-fighting equipment must be carried out in accordance with TRH-StLF 20: 2020 or the description in accordance with the fire-fighting load planning and the specifications in the service description.

Fire-fighting equipment Protective clothing and protective equipment, extinguishing equipment, hoses, fittings and accessories, rescue equipment, medical and resuscitation equipment, lighting, signaling and telecommunication equipment, work equipment, hand tools and measuring equipment, special equipment.

Additional loading The loading planning of the StLF 20 essentially corresponds to the TRH-StLF 20: 2020. The loading was changed or supplemented on the basis of operational experience and local requirements. The load listed below should be accommodated as completely as possible in the vehicle.
