In the municipal resource plan from 2021-2033, The Municipality of Assens has established the model for the collection of food and residual waste and recyclable fractions. Assens Affald og Genbrug A/S hereby offers the new total collection schemes.

The collection task is offered as a single task with the collection of both food and residual waste and recyclable fractions in 2 2-piece containers and one undivided container for single-family homes and holiday homes as well as the use of both shared and undivided containers at multi-storey and multi-family homes as well as businesses.

At the same time as the implementation of the new collection schemes in shared and undivided containers, Assens Affald og Genbrug A/S introduces a new mandatory collection scheme for hazardous waste in red environmental boxes and textiles in bags. The tenderer shall provide unit prices for the collection of these fractions at the simultaneous collections of food and residual waste and recyclable fractions.

Assens Affald og Genbrug A/S will accept a transition period until 1 April 2024 with collection in used collection vehicles, after which all the collection schemes must be carried out with new collection vehicles that meet the requirements set out in the tender documents.
