The overall objective of this project is to maintain, develop and update EIGE’s Gender Statistics Database as a centralised resource of gender statistics and tool for knowledge management as well as to support the dissemination process of the Database and other related services.
Specific objectives of this Lot are:
— regular updating of the Database regarding its content and structure in all entry points and geographical areas covered,
— identification of gaps in gender statistics and the collection of data under designated specific areas relevant within the EU policy priorities on gender equality and improvement of the methodology (where necessary) to ensure the relevance and comparability of the statistics,
— preparation of the content for, and regular updates of, the web pages related to the Database,
— ensuring and validating the quality of statistical data and metadata,
— drafting reports analysing the situation and trends of designated emerging issues in gender statistics,
— monitoring and promoting the quality and usage of the Database. (Development of a monitoring package to measure the usage of the Gender Statistics Database, to establish the needs of stakeholders and to ensure it serves as a valuable resource),
— monitoring performance and maintenance of the database management system (MongoDB) and the Database design.
The objectives of the lot are:
— ensuring continuity of data collection on women and men in decision-making positions within the quality standards previously established by the European Commission,
— identifying gaps in gender statistics within emerging policy needs related to women and men in decision-making positions, assessing feasibility and collecting data with a view to overcome such gaps,
— drafting reports analysing the situation and trends on women and men in decision-making positions within the EU and other geographic areas covered by the Database.
The objectives of the lot are:
— regular updating of statistical data and metadata on gender-based violence in the Database and associated mapping tables, where relevant,
— regular updating of statistical data and metadata collection on EIGE’s indicators on Intimate Partner Violence coming from national administrative sources and/or other indicators developed by EIGE on gender-based violence,
— collection of data under designated specific areas of gender-based violence following the EU policy priorities on gender equality and improvement of the methodology (where necessary) to ensure the relevance and comparability of the statistics,
— drafting reports analysing the gender-based violence rates and trends within the EU.
The objectives of this lot are:
— revision and validation of deliverables produced under Lots 1, 2 and 3 of the Framework Contract(s),
— assessing the quality of gender statistics collected, produced, analysed and disseminated through EIGE’s Gender Statistics Database, ensuring the highest quality standards consistently with the European Statistical System criteria.
