The city of Cham intends to expand or rehabilitate the wastewater treatment plant in Cham with an expansion size to approx. 49,900 PE.
On the basis of a rough cost estimate, total costs (Kgr. 300-500, DIN 276) of approx. EUR 5.0 million gross are currently assumed.
For the planned measure, the following services are tendered to be awarded to a service provider:
- Object planning of civil engineering structures according to §§ 41 ff. HOAI,
- Object planning building according to §§ 33 ff. HOAI,
- Structural design according to §§ 49 ff. HOAI,
- Technical equipment planning according to §§ 53 ff. HOAI.

In Cham, due to an expiring discharge permit, a recalculation of wastewater treatment based on current technical and legal requirements is pending. As a result of the overcalculation in connection with upcoming upgrading measures for operational reasons, extensive construction measures are expected at the wastewater treatment plant.
