English Institute of Sport (‘the EIS’) is seeking to appoint through a restricted procedure a suitably qualified and experienced provider of ICT support services. The services will compromise provision and support of wide area network, local area network including wireless at our regional high performance centres, and provision of a dedicated 24 hour service desk for our 450 users. The staff are based at several performance centres in the UK, but most of the workforce regularly work away from their centres and have work patterns that are mobile and remote. A large number of staff work abroad as required by the sports we work with; their overseas travel may cover periods up to several months. As a publicly funded organisation EIS is seeking to maximise value for money, and wishes to minimise one-offset up costs as well as ongoing revenue costs.
