Technical assistance to promote and reinforce the Science-Policy-Society interface on climate and environmental change in the Mediterranean region through the provision of support to the MedECC

The main objective of this contract is to promote and reinforce the Science-Policy-Society interface on climate and environmental change in the Mediterranean region through the provision of support to the MedECC in the performance of its tasks as follows:

- Specific objective 1: support to MedECC in the preparation and delivery of the Second Mediterranean Assessment Report (MAR2) on climate and environmental change and associated risks in the Mediterranean,

- Specific objective 2: development of communications and outreach plans and activities to disseminate the findings of the MedECC products (Special Reports, MAR1 report and the updated MAR2 report when published).

- Specific objective 3: support MedECC in the reinforcement of their structure and finalise a solid governance scheme
