The procurement is for planning and engineering design services for the realisation of public and communal infrastructure in the centre of Knarvik, including alterations to the E39 through the centre as a part of the coming toll money financed Nordhordland package. The procurement otherwise includes, amongst other things, detailed engineering design services for municipal roads, preliminary projects for bridge constructions, environmental reviews for a river system that runs through the centre and preparing detailed regulation plans for parts of the road systems, as well as the collection and processing of basic data and follow-up in the construction period. The procurement can also cover options for detailed regulation of a major leisure and park area and the remaining part of overall road system in Knarvik — including detailed engineering design services for the remaining municipal road network in Knarvik. The options also include a preliminary project for a central car park in rock with the accompanying ground examinations.
