Færder and Tønsberg Municipalities would like to establish a framework agreement for water and sewage material.

The framework agreement will mainly be for water and sewage material required for operations and the site work that the municipalities undertake themselves. When it comes to larger new constructions/renovations that are put up for tender, the purchase of materials will usually be part of the offer from the contractor, and not part of the framework agreement. With smaller new constructions/renovations it may be that the municipality itself provides the materials through this framework agreement.

Call-offs will primarily be for pipes and pipe parts, but it may also be relevant to include other products such as pumps and overflow, etc.

It may be necessary to procure sanitary equipment for the municipalities buildings.

The contract is subject to ability to deliver and quality. If the tenderer has unsatisfactory quality or is unable to deliver one or more products, the municipalities are free to make purchases outside the agreement. Or the contract could be terminated.
