The subject of the contract is the evaluation of the framework programme "From Material to Innovation" of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in the form of an ex post and an ex ante evaluation for the development of a follow-up measure. Within the framework of this mandate, all projects of the Framework Programme started between 01.01.2015 and 31.12.2022 are to be evaluated. The purpose of the assignment is to evaluate and record the impact and cost-effectiveness (implementation and measure efficiency) of the programme. The interlinking with an ex-ante evaluation serves to link the findings on previous funding activities with current technological and social trends relevant in the field of materials research as well as with future scenarios.
