The procurement concerns a framework agreement for one total supplier for the supply of materials for use in operations against acute pollution.

IUA Bergen region (inter-municipal committee against acute pollution) with partners needs such materials.

The contracting authority for this procurement is Bergen municipality as a host municipality for IUA Bergen region (intermunicipal committe against acute pollution) that includes the following 20 municipalities: Alver, Askøy, Austevoll, Austrheim, Bergen, Bjørnafjorden, Eidfjord, Fedje, Gulen, Hyllestad, Kvam, Masfjorden, Modalen, Osterøy, Samnanger, Solund, Ulvik, Vaksdal, Voss and Øygarden.

Fedje municipality has chosen to enter the framework agreement.

Bergen brannvesen [Bergen Fire Service] is also a contracting authority to the framework agreement.

Options for entering the agreeement: IUA Haugesund region and IUA Sogn og Sunnfjord region.

The following oil protection equipment shall be included in the agreement:

- Absorbent oil booms (long and short types)

- Bark

- Absorbent granules
