20,000 t/yearThe object of the service is the proper disposal (recycling/disposal) of residual waste from the districts of Meissen and Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains in accordance with the Closed Substance Cycle Management Act (KrWG), which is left to the ZAOE in the function of a public waste disposal authority.
The residual waste to be disposed of is waste transferred from households and commercial and industrial waste similar to household waste, as well as waste from facilities that can be disposed of in the same way as mixed municipal waste with the waste code 20 03 01.
The amount of residual waste to be disposed of from the ZAOE association area for Lot 1 is 20,000 t/year.
For the disposal of the delivered residual waste, the requirements of the KrWG must be observed. The residual waste to be disposed of must be treated by means of thermal processes or used to generate energy. Energy recovery occurs when the delivered residual waste is recycled for the main purpose of disposal in a waste treatment plant that corresponds to the recycling process R 1 of Annex 2 to the KrWG.
