The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School.

The contract covers the scope for the provision of all catering and vending services within the School, which also includes all hospitality and free issue requirements.

The School has recently embarked on a new building project and the result of this will be an increased number of students on roll.

It is expected that the successful contractor will be able to offer both innovation, new food service outlets (external), and a new food service offer which meets the needs of the pupils moving forwards into this contract term. The current range of foods needs to be expanded along with the service provision.

The contract currently operates on a zero cost basis but based on the additional students on role it is predicted that this will become a return to the School moving into this new contract. Free school meals and hospitality will be charged based on consumption and at net food cost.

The approximate cost of the contract per annum is 15 000 GBP plus VAT.

The contract is for a five-year term with a commencement date of 1.4.2017, with the option to extend the term by a further 1-year period, and will be on a guaranteed performance basis.
