This contract is for the supply of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables to Midland Heart Ltd for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for a further 1 + 1 years based on performance.

Midland Heart Limited is a Housing Association based in the centre of Birmingham and operating 11 commercial catering kitchens within their schemes which are geographically situated across Birmingham, Coventry, and the Black Country. As well as providing social housing it is also manages a number of residential schemes that specialise in provision of care and support services to particular groups of people such as the elderly, homeless and young people etc. and on occasions these schemes may also require your service.

The size of each Care and Support unit varies from 20 to over 100 clients and it would be expected that your service be as robust and diverse to accommodate our requirements.

Volumes and locations for delivery are subject to change and the successful supplier is expected to be flexible to meet our needs.

Midland Heart Limited does have its own internal food provider called Fareshare who will from time to time provide Midland Heart Limited schemes with food such as fruit and vegetables.
