The Association of Health Insurance Physicians of Bavaria (KVB) announces the provision of driving services to ensure medical on-call service, especially during office hours (emergency service) in the Freising/Mainburg/Pfaffenhofen region.
The object of the call for proposals is the provision of a driver service for the medical on-call service, especially during office hours (emergency service) in the Freising/Mainburg/Pfaffenhofen region. The driving services in this region were advertised with announcement dated 27.12.2019. The contract for driving services was cancelled by mutual agreement. Following an interim award, the driving services will now be re-tendered from April 30, 2022 at 08:00.
The driving services are to be provided in the designated core region and within the framework of cross-regional mediation in neighbouring regions. During shift times, the contractually agreed number of vehicles and drivers must be kept in stock. The emergency vehicle must arrive within a period of 15 minutes from the notification by the placement and consulting centre.
The contractor must use at least compact class cars or similar SUVs for the driving services, which must in particular have all-wheel drive, an anti-lock braking system and vehicle dynamics control. Initial registration may not be longer than 5 years ago at the time of operation and the total mileage may not exceed 300,000 km at any time. The base color of the vehicles must be white and marked as the emergency vehicle of the medical on-call service with a foil label.
In addition to providing driving services, the respective driver must accompany the doctor on duty to the patient at the respective point of care, wear the deployment equipment and provide qualified support to the doctor. Drivers must be in possession of a valid driver's license for passenger transport according to § 48 Driving Licence Ordinance (FeV) and have one of the following training: basic medical service training, medical assistant training, paramedic or emergency paramedic with at least 48 h training, ambulance worker, emergency medical technician, paramedic, emergency paramedic,
Nursing and health nurse, medical assistant, medical student after successfully completing the 1st section of the medical examination (cand. Med.) Or a comparable training that was successfully completed in the Bundeswehr.
