The rough concept is based on the following premises:

It is necessary to create a redundant single-level firewall concept.

The firewall is intended to serve as both a perimeter firewall and an internal firewall for at least 1,000 clients.

the Zonenkonzept

The firewall is intended to make it possible to set up different trust zones. These include, but are not limited to:

• In-house data center

•Administration

• MPLS areas (management network and circular network)

• Landesdatennetz

•WHO

o Optional integration of additional security services

• Sandbox benefits

• Mail-Security

• Client-Security

A framework agreement is concluded with a contractor. The individual contracts will be awarded without a new call for competition.

The term of the framework agreement is 48 months.

The hardware and software are purchased and a maintenance contract is concluded for 60 months.
