Åbo Akademi (later “Customer) requests an offer for migration transport services by the Supplier himself or exploiting its subcontracting network to the extent specified further by the Customer.
TurkuÅbo Akademi (later “Customer”) asks for an offer for moving transport services
By the supplier itself or exploiting its subcontracting network to the extent defined by the Customer.
The following migration sites (preliminary plan) are currently known during the contract period:
Åbo Akademis bibliotek (c. 3400 m2) 2023/2024 and 2025/2026 (back)
Kvarteret Stjärnan (c. 7000 m2) summer 2024
There may be other individual migration needs during the contract period that will be specified later. These happen about 6-10 times a year.
The biggest part of the individual migrations take place as follows:
The customer will contact the Supplier when the need to move arises. The customer provides the Supplier with the necessary information (including what is changed, addresses). The editor is also given on-site access. The supplier draws up a plan, which is approved by the Customer. The customer usually packs the moving goods themselves. Moving boxes are brought to the site in advance.
For individual removals, one foreman and four movers are usually required, as well as one large moving car (excluding library and archive transfers). Individual removals are usually carried out on weekdays between 6 pm and 6pm.
The removals of this area are mainly within the Turku region, but removals in other parts of Finland are also possible.
Items to change may include, but are not limited to:
• Office stuff (including IT and AV stuff)
• Research equipment and laboratory supplies (no chemicals)
• Office furniture
• Library books
As a rule, removals are carried out on Mon-Fri between 6am and 6pm. The supplier must also have readiness for evening and weekend orders.
When ordering the service, the content of the service shall be identified by order.
The contract applies to the following services:
• Inter-real estate moving services
• In larger/wider changes, planning and scheduling of the move
• Internal transfers in real estate
• Dismantling, piling and protecting bulk furniture for moving capacity
• Protection of surfaces and corners of objects to be changed from damage, removal and removal of hedges
• Boxes, rollers, IT and AV equipment transfer cabinets, etc.
• Small installation work, e.g., screws, disassembly of boards, etc.
• Library and archive transfers from shelf to shelf (including packaging services)
• Recycling services if necessary
• Resale of motoblock if necessary
• Installation services if necessary
The deal is fixed-term. The objective is for the contract period to begin on 1 May 2022, however, so that the Agreement only enters into force at the time of signature. The contract is valid for 2 years and also includes a 2 (2) year option. The customer notifies the supplier no later than three (3) months before the end of the contract about the option.
The customer does not commit to certain procurement amounts during the contract period.
The customer should choose one Supplier to this aspect of the Vendor based on competitive competition.
