On 01.01.2023, the city of Burgdorf will award lunch catering of up to 671 lunches per day at the 8 municipal day care centres (including after-school care centres) for currently 569 children aged 1 - 6 years and 102 school children aged 6 - 14 years. Of the school children, 20 are currently fed daily, 52 only on Fridays and all 102 school children during the holidays with lunch. The individual facilities, delivery times and number of lunches are listed in the appendix "List of all facilities".

The closing times of the facilities are 2 weeks in summer. In this summer closing time, a "summer daycare" takes place in the form of emergency care, so that during this time a needs-based delivery, depending on the number of children, must also take place. The facilities are closed during the Christmas holidays and New Year's Day. Emergency care does not take place in winter.

The exact dates of the closing times or emergency care times will be communicated at the beginning of the new care year.

The first day of delivery for the current kindergarten year 2022/2023 is 03.01.2023.

The contract is limited until 31.07.2025. It is extended up to two times by a further year, but at the latest until 31.07.2027, if it is not terminated in writing by a contractual partner by 28.02./29.02. of a current care year at the end of the same care year.

Depending on the catering system offered, lunch can be prepared/regenerated. The processing equipment required for this (combi steamer, provided that the nursery has appropriate connections and/or convection machines) or required warming devices must be provided. The maintenance and repair of these devices as well as the provision of basic equipment with accessories such as gastronorm containers for treatment are expected.

The events on site are to be recorded as part of a site inspection if necessary.

In the further selection process, a tasting of food of the individual bidders is planned in order to check sensory expectations. The food required for this purpose will be remunerated by the client.

It is intended to optimize the work processes in the kitchen in the long term. If possible, any modernization measures should take place during closing times. However, it is not excluded that there may be an interruption of lunch on a daily basis or, if necessary, conversion of the selected catering system for these days. Currently, no modernization work is planned. If
