ewz operates a seawater network with an intermediate circuit in the Klausstrasse in Seefeld, to which various properties are already connected. In spring 2023, the energy centre in the Riesbach school building was added as an additional property, from which a heating network will supply the first properties in the neighbourhood with heat. The heat supply to customers will be ensured by means of district heating pipelines. The interconnection between EZ Riesbach and Hornbach was completed in 2022. The other parts of the network will be completely rebuilt. The heat output in the individual properties is carried out by district heating transfer stations. Due to the expansion of the EV Seefeld (EVS), it is planned to open up this area for the heat supply with district heating pipelines from 2024 to 2027. For the construction of the main pipeline and the pipelines for the house connections for customer development with district heating, this tender is looking for a pipe contractor for EVS.
