The Government of the Swiss Confederation intends to renovate the existing Chancery Office Building located at 2900 Cathedral Avenue NW, in Washington, DC. The Federal Office of Buildings and Logistics (FOBL) is the Owner responsible for the project. The general planning team CDAO (Geneva) and DLR Group (Washington, DC) was selected by the FOBL to design the renovation of the existing Chancery. The original Chancery was designed by Swiss-American Architect William Lescaze and was completed in 1959. The Chancery is a 2-story building with a basement and multi-purpose wing with a basement.
