Ski municipality wishes to further develop the Town Hall by improved facilities for artists/technical personnel as well as the general public.

The construction site is located in the centre of Ski, address: Idrettsveien 8. The project comprises various measures in the district's built-up area, address: Idrettsveien 8, the town hall theatre and the town hall. The works that are to be executed involve a new addition containing a canteen/café with a canteen kitchen, new changing rooms for the general public/toilets, meeting rooms and a lift for handicapped. The reconstructed area includes a new access/transportation area in the existing basement, the town hall theatre, upgrading of changing rooms for performers, a new department kitchen, a main and building application archive/computer rooms and toilets/toilets for handicapped/cleaning room in the middle building.
