In order to ensure the regional services of general interest for its citizens through sustainable improvement of mobility in the future and to make the district of Kitzingen more attractive as a residential and business location, the district of Kitzingen is planning to create a mobility concept in addition to the already existing Local transport map. On the basis of a decision of the Environment, Transport and Public Transport Committee dated 28.11.2019, a mobility concept is to be drawn up in the district of Kitzingen. This is intended to develop implementation projects and specifications for future-oriented public transport and other needs-based mobility services in the district of Kitzingen. Since all line bundles of the district of Kitzingen are expected to run as gross contract lines from June 2024, the time to create the concept makes sense.

The service provider should provide, among other things, the following services: taking stock of mobility offerings, creating a mobility concept and developing an implementation strategy.
