It is planned to procure a machine tool for spark erosive countersunk machining of components with the highest demands on shape accuracy and surface roughness. These components are to be used in high-precision mould construction and form the basis for developments in injection moulding. The electrode change should be possible automatically and with zero-point clamping systems from EROWA in order to be integrated into the existing infrastructure. With the help of the die-sinking EDM machine, it should be possible to close the gap between micro and macro machining and to allow the use of different materials as workpieces and tools.
