Energie und Wasser Potsdam GmbH is planning to build an energy centre to supply a local heating network with heat from deep geothermal energy. The energy centre is to contain two identical heat pump cascades for harnessing deep geothermal energy, ancillary units for heat generation and feed-out, as well as electrical, instrumentation and control systems. In addition, there is a district heating connection to secure heat generation.

The object of the contract is the supply and installation of a permanent electrical power supply for an energy centre from the upstream medium-voltage grid (10 kV). The service also includes construction site equipment, work and assembly planning, commissioning and acceptance as well as technical documentation.
