Rental container system Windmühlenschule Mainz

The city of Mainz intends to erect a two-storey, temporary school building in Mainz in container construction as a new or refurbished facility on a rental basis.

The plant is to be built on a mostly flat foundation area on the school grounds of the FS Windmühlenschule in Mainz.

The facility is to be leased for at least 48 months (+ 24 months extension option).

The class container is to be set up with a total of 2 classrooms of approx. 54.70m² each and 1 music classroom approx. 85.22m² including 2 adjoining rooms of approx. 12.34 m² each in a 2-storey arrangement with 2 external staircases.

The facility to be rented consists of approx. 16 standard/combination units, approx. 6.06 x approx. 2.45 x approx. 2.85 m, including substructure made of screw pile foundations, 2 stairways, on the ground floor with access platforms and ramps, external, single-flight as steel structures, for the development of the 1st floor and as 2nd escape and rescue routes for the two-storey container arrangement, including main platforms, complete with railings, incl. 2 canopies and incl. inclined secondary roof above the 1st floor.

The container facility is also to be equipped with a rear-ventilated curtain wall façade made of large-format HPL panels. The heat-transferring enclosing surfaces should be insulated in accordance with GEG.

The installation will take place in one construction phase.
