The Verein Gründungskreis Waldorfschule Mainfranken e. V. is planning a new school building for the Freie Waldorfschule in the Mainauen for classes 1 to 8 including some specialist rooms as well as kitchen and. Canteen.

On the property at Ziegelbrunn 10 and 16 (approx. 5,300 m2 within Haßfurt), a new school building (approx. 3,400 m2 GFA) is to be built for the Waldorf School as a replacement of the existing old school building. During the construction phase, the old building continues to teach; the old school building will be demolished after completion of the replacement new building. The upper level with additional specialist rooms is housed in an existing, separate building on the same property and will not be demolished.

Funding from Reg. V. Ufr. claimed.

Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2020 and completion of the tree measure by summer 2022.
