We would like artificial grass that is tailor-made for how Randaberg Arena is used. I.e.:

— A large number of users both during the day and in the evenings, as well as at weekends for 10 months of the year.

— 80 % of the football activity is children and youths, but in addition we have senior matches and training in the winter months, including ‘eliteserie’ (top league) teams.

— The pitch shall not be watered.

— We aim to have top pitch maintenance, food and drink must not be consumed on the artificial grass.

— The pitch shall be marked as an 11-a-side pitch and artificial grass shall be laid in the safety zones around the pitch, 3 m on the long sides and 1.5 m at each end. The penalty spot shall not be marked. In addition small markings shall be added (goal lines and the 7 m line) for 3 7-a-side pitches across the pitch. This depends on dividing walls in Randaberg Arena, measurements must be taken before the markings are made.

— A floor will be laid on top of the artificial grass for trade fairs and events, for 1- 1.5 weeks at a time. We have maybe a total of 4 - 6 weeks per annum with a floor, with varying weight on the floor. The actual floor sheets are hard plastic, 1 x 1 m, 5 cm thick. 1 sheet weighs 18 kg, it is an advantage if you can state how many kilos the artificial grass can tolerate on 1 m2.

— State the guarantee period.

Requirements:

— The artificial grass shall fulfil the new and tightened requirements for recreational football, so-called FIFA Quality grass.

— In addition a tender shall be submitted for grass that is both FIFA Quality and FIFA Quality PRO certified.

— The granule shall be the same colour as the artificial grass, different types shall be specified.

— The artificial grass must tolerate the strain from how Randaberg Arena is used, see above and, with the recommended maintenance, remains upright throughout the guarantee period.

— Specify whether it is with or without wrapping.

— A maintenance plan shall be enclosed, in accordance with Randaberg Arena's use and maintenance equipment shall be recommended. Or confirm that the existing equipment is OK.

— References

A price must also be specified for removing the old artificial grass. 2 alternatives must be given for removing the grass. Alternative 1 is to remove the sand fill in first so that the artificial grass can be taken off and reused, alternative 2 is to remove and dispose of everything. Any disposal shall be in accordance with the rules and environmental requirements.

The artificial grass and possibly the pad shall be replaced in December 2017, the progress plan must be included.
