In addition to the production and delivery of the eGK, the service to be provided also includes the production and delivery of PIN-PUK letters. In principle, the call for tenders is aimed at the future production of latest generation ECGCs for the AOK community.

During the contract period, the contractor takes over the production, personalization and delivery of electronic health cards (eGK) as well as the associated PIN/PUK letters according to the current gematik specifications on behalf of the client. The specifications of the electronic health card currently published on the gematik website (www.gematik.de) as well as the related other requirements are considered to be the current specification status. In particular, the subject of the contract is the development, testing and approval of electronic health cards of the latest generation of eGK.
