The City of Sastamala's Information Management (Subscriber) requests tenders for the telecommunications network.
including connections, hardware, software and services in accordance with this Request for Quotation and its appendices. The invitation to tender concerns the city of Sastamala and the municipality of Punkalaitumi. Both parties make their own decisions and agreements. The agreement is scheduled to start in May 2023. When the procurement decision becomes final, the contract is signed.
The contract period is two (2) years, after which the contract continues until further notice.
The Supplier has the right to terminate an open-ended contract in accordance with a notice period of one (1) year and the Customer with one (1) year notice.
The services provided must meet the requirements of the invitation to tender and its appendices.
The goal for the procurement of telecommunications services is to make high-quality, available
suitable, scalable and secure telecommunications services for all offices of the City of Sastamala and the municipality of Punkalaitumi.
At the main level, procurement consists of the following components:
- 802.1X based user and access management of the telecommunications network

- Management, monitoring and reporting portals and support services related to the previous ones. In connection with the acquisition, the City will not acquire connections, telecommunications equipment or software for its own ownership, but everything will be produced as a service to the customer.

Partial tenders are not allowed, as the implementation of the contract as a reasonable entity would then become technically difficult. Reconciling the responsibilities and obligations of the contracting parties in the various components would make it difficult to implement the contract properly.
