Extended shell construction work for the KITA - New building
The city of Beeskow intends to build a new one-storey, barrier-free day care center.
It should offer care places for a total of 192 children:
- 6 crib groups with 10 children each
- 4 daycare groups with 18 children each
- 3 after-school groups with 20 children each
A single-storey, barrier-free, U-shaped new building with dimensions of approx. 83 x 53 m opposite the Fontane primary school is planned. The structure is formed by three wings of the building, which enclose a spacious courtyard. This serves as a play and movement zone.
The building wings are assigned to different age groups. Each group unit consists of a main room, bedroom, sanitary unit and changing room. The corners of the U-shaped structure, or the interfaces of the three wings of the building, are constructed as overhead structures that serve as shared dining rooms and multi-function rooms.
