During peak hours, traffic jams are increasing in Frauenfeld on the East, Zürcher and Bahnhofstrasse axis. This is due to the inadequate performance of the node elements.
The canton of Thurgau intends to redesign these road sections in cooperation with the city of Frauenfeld. This is intended to remedy the deficits for public transport, foot and bicycle traffic on the one hand, and to implement traffic management and achieve liquefaction on the other. The redesign also intends to upgrade the road sections and characterize them as an axis of entry into the city of Frauenfeld.
At the same time as the road sections are being redesigned, the plant lines in the project perimeter are being renewed or expanded by ThurPlus and the sewer lines are being renewed or expanded by the city of Frauenfeld
Engineering services are to be provided for SIA phases 32 (construction project) up to and including 53 (commissioning/completion)
