The Borough Council of Bolton (‘the Authority’) is prepared to receive tenders for supply and installation of vehicle activated signs (VAS) which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. This contract consists of both supply of Products and providing a service.

This tender relates to the provision of VAS for the purposes of reducing vehicle speeds and improving road safety.

The Authority is responsible for the implementation of road safety improvements across the borough and the signs are required to support this role.

The Authority’s requirement is for the successful Tenderer (the ‘Provider’) to supply Vehicle Activated Signs and fit to existing poles.
