The number of pupils in primary education in Middenbeemster will grow strongly in the coming years as a result of new construction in Middenbeemster. Middenbeemster's Village Development Vision therefore stipulates that a new school building must be built. The ambition is that the IKC will be able to
opens its doors. Primary school 'De Blauwe Morgenster' will be located in the IKC.
The assignment concerns the design and comes to a tender-ready specification for the new integral child center (hereinafter: IKC) of approx. 4,000 m² GFA as well as design for the surrounding outdoor space.
For the time being, the IKC must accommodate the following functions/users:
1. primary school (de Blauwe Morgenster), including gymnasium
2. childcare (Forte)
3. Library
4. Center for Youth and Family
