The cable distribution cabinets referred to in this document concerns cabinets used for the distribution of electrical energy in three phase systems for rated voltage 400V AC. Cabinets shall be suitable for continuous outdoor service and shall withstand normal Nordic climate (or similar) conditions during transportation, installation and in use while having a calculated lifetime for more than 35 years.

Besides cabinets, also logistics to the warehouse (Helsinki or Tampere +70 km, minimum requirement) or optionally to the project sites in Finland is included in the tender. The estimated annual value of the procurement is approx. 1,7 million EUR. Including all possible option agreement periods the total estimated value of the procurement is approx. 10 million EUR.

The procurement is divided into two (2) Lots. From each Lot one to two (1-2) tenderers (the Tenderer) will be selected to become Suppliers (the Supplier). During the procurement process Elenia will make the decision on how many Tenderers are invited to contract negotiations and will make separate decision on how many Tenderers from each Lot are selected as Suppliers. Tenderers can participate to one or two Lots. Parallel tenders are not allowed. However, the Tenderer can participate as a subsupplier in one (1) other application.
