Description:
Northumberland County Council is looking for a contractor to recycle asphalt waste containing coal tar to provide Cold Recycled Bound Material and Hydraulically Bound Material for their annual highway maintenance programme.
Provision of Cold Recycled Bound Material and Hydraulically Bound Material. As part of their annual highway maintenance programme, Northumberland County Council (NCC), produce several thousand tonnes of asphalt waste containing coal tar (AWCCT) 17 03 01* per annum. In addition, there is currently several thousand tonnes stockpiled at a number of S2 locations countywide. NCC are seeking to appoint a Contractor to recycle this AWCCT and provide Cold Recycled Bound Material (CRBM) and Hydraulically Bound Material (HBM).
