The University of Oslo (UiO) is the country's largest and most traditional institution for higher education. The university is organised is approx. 100 institutes and units, and currently has approx. 30000 studentss and approx. 7 000 employees. The buildings consist of approx. 100 buildings in different places in Oslo (Blindern, Gaustad, the Centre and Tøyen) as well as some places outside Oslo.

UiO is continually being changed and there is often a need for changes and alterations to premises in order to adapt the physical conditions in the best possible way for UiO. There will often be a need for changes and new procurements of marking signs inside and outside these premises. This contract shall cover the need for designing signs.

The contract is administrated by the property department at UiO, which is responsible for the developmnet, operation and maintenance of UiO's buildings.
