The subject of the acquisition is ventilation filters for real estate.

Ventilation filters for Rovaniemi Status Services Centre, Rovaniemi Educational Municipality Group, Rovaseudu market properties, Rovaniemi urban properties and Napadistrict Residuum Oy's real estate are subject to the acquisition.

This acquisition comprises only normal coarse, basic and fine filters for ventilation, EPM1-EPM10 (no special filters for HEPA, activated carbon, etc.). The purpose of the invitation to tender is to obtain filters that are economically advantageous for the contracting entities.

The overall economic affordability of filters is assessed using the following criteria:

- Cost of running filters

- Purchasing cost of filters

For its part, this method seeks to improve the energy economy of buildings in contracting entities and to help contracting entities achieve their own social obligations as well as government-set energy conservation goals.

Contracting entities take care of the filters themselves to dispose of filters in accordance with their own recycling practices.

The tenderer must have an LCC calculation programme in place to calculate the most energy-economically advantageous filters on the targets assigned by the contracting entity.
