The purpose of this contract is the operation, maintenance and servicing of SOFICO's fiber optic cable network in order to guarantee its customers a high level of quality of service (SLA) and availability.

The fibre-optic cable network, which is the subject of this contract, is mainly deployed throughout Wallonia, with infrastructures present in the Brussels-Capital Region and the Flemish Region.

The network infrastructure consists mainly of more than 3500km of fiber optic cables (including several hundred kilometers of fibers exchanged with other operators), within five years, following the deployment of the network, it should be around 5000 Kms, more than 2500 junction boxes, 5800 visit rooms and more than 65 fiber optic cabins located along major roads and highways. Fiber optic cables include 18 FO, 36 FO, 48 FO, 72 FO, 84 FO, 96 FO, 168 FO and 192 FO cables as well as 4 FO, 8 FO, 24 FO, 48 FO, 72 FO and 96 FO μcables.
