The Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) is looking for an experienced specialist planner for the technical facilities for the conversion of individual exhibition areas in the DASA permanent exhibition (Arbeitswelt Ausstellung).
With the update of the permanent exhibition, new research results and occupational safety innovations in the world of work are to be included in the permanent exhibition.
Together with the external architect / exhibition designer, DASA plans and rebuilds individual theme zones in the working world of exhibition one after the other.
The areas planned for the conversion over the next 4 years amount to approx. 1,000 sqm (theme zone "Building construction" - AE2), approx. 155 sqm (theme zone "Work and Life" - IZ Nord), approx. 660 sqm (theme zone "Hazardous substances, chemical laboratory and sustainability" - AE6a) and approx. 1,100 sqm (theme zone "Airport, office, robot" - AE1).
The focus of the services of the technical equipment in these updates of the theme zones in the permanent exhibition is the adaptation planning of the new electrotechnical area systems to the existing system of the existing building. It is mainly necessary to plan the power supply of interactive exhibits, media stations with audio stations and / or projectors and screens, as well as the power supply and control of the new lighting system. New sockets and network connections must also be planned. The individual theme zones are supplied via a newly planned sub-distribution, which must be controlled by control relays by the building management system.
Planning service is also the integration of the safety-related systems, such as hazard alarm systems, of the theme zones into the existing systems.
In part, the updates of the individual theme zones may also require the relocation of existing radiators, the relocation of water pipes and/or the adaptation of the ventilation systems to the new exhibition plans. These plant groups are also part of the technical equipment services to be awarded.
The order includes freelance planning services.
The following services are to be awarded:
- Technical equipment (work phases 1 - 9 according to HOAI § 55 in conjunction with Annex 15, plant group 4 and to a lesser extent plant groups 1 - 3, 5 and 8. [Note: In the offer form, the lowest table values for the solicitation of tenders (provisional chargeable costs as an approach for the award procedure) are sometimes used. If these table values are not reached in order processing, the fee will be remunerated on an hourly or daily rate basis.]
The required services are based on the performance profiles of the HOAI and are specified in the appendix "Leistungsbild". Performance phase 4 will only be awarded if it is necessary. The client reserves the right to commission the individual sub-projects in stages and, if necessary, by construction phase.
The contract term is limited to 2 years with the option to extend another 2 years. [Note: Projects started will also be completed beyond the respective contract period].
