The subject of the tender is the supply of 100% renewable energy (green electricity) to all consumption points listed in Annex 1 to Green Electricity Supply Contract Lot 1 and in Annex 1 to Green Electricity Supply Contract Lots 2 and 3 with and without registering power measurement of the City of Mannheim.
The tender is for the supply of green electricity, including grid use (all-inclusive electricity supply contract). The network operator for all consumption points is MVV Netze GmbH.
According to the procurement authority's forecast, the tendered electricity supply volume in the delivery period from 2024 to 2027 is estimated at 224 million kWh in total, approx. 56 million kWh per year.
Supply of electrical energy for own use by way of structured electricity procurement from a total of approx. 107 consumption points with registering power measurement (RLM) of the city of MannheimAccording to the procurement authority's forecast, the tendered electricity supply volume of the City of Mannheim for a total of approx. 107 consumption points with registering power measurement (RLM) in Lot 1 amounts to approx. 33.18 million kWh per year.
Supply of electrical energy for own use from approx. 588 non-power-measured consumption points (SLP) without street lighting, traffic safety systems and traffic lightsAccording to the procurement authority's forecast, the tendered electricity supply volume of the City of Mannheim for a total of approx. 588 consumption points without registering power measurement (with standard load profile = SLP) in Lot 2 amounts to approx. 7.39 million kWh per year.
Electricity supply to street lighting, traffic safety systems on road structures and traffic lights (traffic lights of the city of Mannheim)The projected electricity supply volume for Lot 3 for each delivery year is
2024: approx. 15.0 million kWh
2025: approx. 14.4 million kWh
2026: approx. 13.8 million kWh
2027: approx. 13.3 million kWh
The decline in the predicted electricity supply volume is due to the fact that in the future a higher proportion of modernized, energy-saving technology, such as e.g. LED technologies.
