EMPACT as part of Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (GEM CSU), on behalf of participating *NHS East Midlands and Yorkshire and Humber, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG's) are seeking expressions of interest (via PQQ) from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of Inpatient Rehabilitation Services for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities (including Autism and Personality Disorder specialist inpatient rehabilitation).
These services and are termed ‘locked and unlocked' The difference in ‘locked and unlocked' is defined within the environmental design, whereby patients who do not require a locked environment require less supervision and continue to receive therapies available to patients who reside within a locked environment.
The aim of these services through rehabilitation is to demonstrate improvements in symptoms, social inclusion and development of independent living skills. The service is expected to move patients towards independent community living (with support packages) or community residential or nursing provision.
A Bidder event will be held on Thursday 21.3.2013. Providers who wish to attend this event should use the messaging facility on the East Midlands Procurement eTendering portal to reserve places by 5:00pm Monday 18.3.2013 no later. Places are limited to two named individuals per organisation - provide names, positions, contact details and any access/disability requirements of those attending. Further information will be sent to those who register for the event.
The procurement will be conducted on the East Midlands Procurement eTendering portal at https://emprocurenhs.bravosolution.co.uk Candidates wishing to be considered for the contract must register themselves on this portal. Bidders are invited to express their interest in this tender, by completing the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire that will be available from Wednesday 6.3.2013. The closing date for Expression of Interest/Pre-Qualification Questionnaire is 5:00 pm Monday 15.4.2013.
