The assignment relates to the purchase of banking services for Umeå Municipality and its group and associated companies.

The existing bank agreement expires on 2024-04-30. The agreement covers flow-related cash management services, group account systems with overdraft facilities and payroll services.

However, the procurement does not include loan agreements (excluding the overdraft facility) or derivatives. For 2022, Umeå Municipal Group reported a profit of SEK 1,177 million. The number of full-time equivalents in 2022 was 13800. Operating income amounted to SEK 5.4 billion, while tax revenue and equalisation/government grants amounted to a further SEK 8.6 billion. Net investments amounted to just over SEK 2.3 billion, with a self-financing ratio of around 100%. The total assets were SEK 27.3 billion. The agreement is expected to be valid for the period 2024-05-01 to 2027-04-30 with the possibility of a three-year extension.
