The purpose of the procurement is to meet the contracting authority's need for medical consumables during the agreement period. Namsos, Overhalla, Namdalseid, Fosnes, Grong, Høylandet, Namsskogan, Røyrvik, Nærøy, Vikna, Leka, Lierne and Flatanger municipalities are the contracting authority. The tender contest is implemented as a joint tender where identical agreements shall be signed with the selected supplier and the various contract owners.

The objective of the procurement is to cover the participating municipalities total requirements for medical consumables after the current contract expires 15.1.2018

The contract includes the following product groups:

— Nutrition,

— Assistive aids,

— Incontinence and urology,

— Laboratory materials and equipment,

— Medical consumables,

— Medical instruments, equipment, furniture and fixtures,

— Surgery,

— Personal hygiene/skin care,

— Contagion protection equipment,

— Ostomy,

— Wounds, bandages and compression materials.

Electro medical equipment is only included in accordance with the demands given in the price sheet. Other electro medical equipment will not be included in the contract. A detailed description of the delivery is given in Appendix 1 — the requirement specifications.
